The Social Impact Toolkit guides you through the entire process of planning a human rights based social impact project, from carrying out baseline assessments and identifying issues to implementing interventions; from tracking the results of improvements in employees’ living standards to project evaluation; to reporting on and publishing your results.
The Social Impact Toolkit uses human rights principles to help your company improve the living standards of workers and their households. These improvements can boost worker loyalty and motivation, and subsequently may also lead to increased company productivity.
How to Use the Toolkit
Before commencing the project, it’s advisable that you take time to go through the entire Toolkit (Modules 1 to 4) to gain an overview of the process. The Guidance materials will provide you with instruction on how to manage all project activities. The Experience materials allow you to draw inspiration from the Human Rights and Social Impact Pilot Project. The Hand Tools are useful data collection and analysis tools for use throughout the project.
